De missie van de Kennisbank Zeer Hoogbegaafd is om het leefklimaat van zeer hoogbegaafden op alle leeftijden te verbeteren, vooroordelen tegen te gaan en deze doelgroep te empoweren. (wat zien wij voor ons als empowerment?)&lt;br /&gt;

== Werkwijze ==&lt;br /&gt;
De Kennisbank Zeer Hoogbegaafden verzamelt en verspreidt informatie en kennis over zeer hoogbegaafden van alle leeftijden. Het gaat om zowel wetenschappelijke kennis als om praktijkervaringen.  Deze informatie en kennis wordt vrij aangeboden in een openbare Wiki. Daarnaast schrijven de leden van de Kennisbank o.a. artikelen en delen hun kennis bijvoorbeeld in geschreven standpunten (op basis van kennis). Zij gaan ook met hun verzamelde kennis in gesprek wanneer ze daarvoor worden gevraagd door bijvoorbeeld beleidspersonen, mensen in onderwijs, werk en zorg.   De Kennisbank Zeer Hoogbegaafd werkt positief en constructief samen met mensen uit de doelgroep zelf en met organisaties die zich ook met deze doelgroep bezighouden.   Leden van de Kennisbank Zeer Hoogbegaafd werken vrijwillig mee en ontvangen geen vergoeding voor hun werk. Zij hebben geen tegenstrijdige belangen ten opzichte van het belang van de Kennisbank.&lt;br /&gt;
