I’m an entrepreneur-researcher specializing in giftedness. I lead four interconnected organizations: SCALIQ (psychometrics and test development), Talentissimo (expertise and training), Praktijk Epoche (diagnostics and psychological support), and Opallios (coaching for children, adults, and schools). My work centers on developing and validating tools for identifying high cognitive ability—among them ZOOV+ (primary screening), VOQS (secondary screening), and the intelligence measures KIQT+ and VIQT+ (5–70). I’m currently in a PhD trajectory at Nyenrode Business University focused on giftedness in organizations. I conduct and support large-scale studies on underidentification, present internationally (e.g., the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children, ECHA), and train educators and clinicians on giftedness, assessment quality and appropriate provision for IQ ≥ 130 and the 145+ subgroup.
My colleagues and I are specifically interested in the 145+ IQ and are keen on making a difference for these children/families and adults.
